Detailed Day Wise Itinerary


  1.  Day 1: HELSINKI

    On arrival at Helsinki airport. Pick up and private transfer to your hotel. Check in.

     

    Proceed for the panoramic city tour of Helsinki. This Panorama Sightseeing is a popular sightseeing tour showing you the most important sights and giving you an excellent view of Helsinki's past and present. The tour takes in the most interesting parts of Helsinki, such as the historical center, City Hall, The Parliament buildings, Finlandia Hall and the Opera House.

     

    Stop at the Temppeliaukio Church (Rock Church) or at the Sibelius Monument (if the church is closed). Please note: the entrance fee to Rock Church 3 €/person is not included in the tour price. The tour ends near the Esplanade Park.

     

    The Audio Tour includes sound effects and commentary in 10 languages with headphones. The tour is operated on a comfortable double decker bus with the good view! There's a heating, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and room for your personal luggage in the bus. Fresh water for sale. The Guided Tour is operated with live guide - commentary in English and Swedish.

  2.  Day 2:  HELSINKI - SAARISELKA (by air – Airfare not included)

    Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and private transfer to Helsinki Airport for your onward flight to Ivalo, nearest airport to Saariselka.

    On arrival, private transfer to your Saariselka hotel. Check in. Later, in the night, proceed for Northern Lights tour on SIC basis. Overnight in your hotel.

  3.  Day 3: SAARISELKA

    Breakfast at your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure or you can choose to go for an amazing experience of Sami culture and enjoy feeding Reindeer. After half an hour’s drive from the city, join the Sami guides for an unforgettable experience of reindeer sledding and Sami culture. The duration of the event is roughly 35 minutes. After the sledding you can visit the Sami camp and have the opportunity to participate in the daily feeding and tending of more than 200 reindeer. The herder and his family will tell you about their culture and history, and how their way of life fits in around the reindeer. Later, you will gather inside the lavuu (the Sami tent) for a hot traditional Sami meal and listen to stories about Sami culture around the camp fire. The guide will also joik for the guests (a traditional Sami song). At the camp, you will also be able to participate in the daily feeding and tending of the animals. The herder and his family will tell you about their culture and history, and how their way of life fits in around the reindeer. Later, return to Tromso and your hotel. Overnight at your hotel.

  4.  Day 4: SAARISELKA – ROVANIEMI by coach (included)

    Breakfast at the hotel.  Check out and private transfer to Saariselka coach station for coach to Bergen. On arrival transfer to your hotel in Rovaniemi. Check in. Overnight in Rovaniemi.

  5. Day 5: TRIP TO SANTA CLAUS

    Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Breakfast at hotel then proceed to a day trip to Santa Claus village. . Visit to the house of Santa & also Choose a range of activities such as snowmobile, reindeer safari, husky safari etc (activity charges as per request or can be paid on spot)

     
  6.  Day 6: ROVENIEMI- HELSINKI (BY TRAIN)

    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the hotel station for your train to Helsinki.

    Rest of the day at leisure. Explore the city with its many attractions and shopping opportunities. Overnight at your hotel.

  7.  Day 7: HELSINKI

    Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure. Or you can choose to go for a full day trip to historical city of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, by ferry from Helsinki. During the city tour you will see the main city square and the city hall, towers and houses of guilds from Middle Ages, Aleksander Nevsky Cathedral and Kadriog Park, Toompea Castle and much more. Tallinn, Estonia’s capital on the Baltic Sea, retains its walled, cobble stoned Old Town, home to cafes and shops, as well as Kiek in de Kök, a 15th-century defensive tower. The Old Town, dating from around the 15th century, is Estonia’s only UNESCO World Heritage site, and is more than worthy of the title. 

     

    In the evening we will return to Helsinki by ferry. Overnight in Helsinki

  8. Day 8: DEPARTURE

    Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and private transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
