Aquaserene / Kumarakom / Munnar

Dominated by jungles, palm-fringed beaches, tea plantations and paddy fields, Kerala is one of the most beautiful states of India. The famous backwaters beckon the visitors to catch a glimpse of Kerelan village life, while festivals are marked by great elephants marches, snake boat races and colourful Kathakali dances.



Detailed Day Wise Itinerary


  1. Day 01 Trivandrum – Aquaserene (40 kms. / approx. 1 hour drive)

    Arrive into Trivandrum on your own and travel inland to Aquaserene along lush green paddy fields, coconut groves dotted with busy hamlets. You will be booked here for two nights.
  2. Day 02 In Aquaserene

    Today you spend the day at leisure, enjoying the facilities of your resort. Rejuvenate your body and soul with an Ayurvedic massage.
  3. Day 03 Aquaserene – Kumarakom (125 kms. / approx. 3 hours drive)

    This morning you drive to Kumarakom where you will stay for two nights. Spend the afternoon in the beautifully landscaped settings of your hotel and enjoy Kerala cuisine.
  4. Day 04 In Kumarakom

    The day will be at leisure. You may wish to take a boat cruise to the Kumarakom Bird sanctuary.
  5. Day 05 Kumarakom – Munnar (152 kms. / approx. 4 hours drive)

    You will be driven up to Munnar, perched 1700 metres above sea level with the view changing from untamed forests to perfectly manicured tea estates. You will stay here for two nights.
  6. Day 06 In Munnar

    Munnar, known as the ‘Haven of Planters’ was discovered a century ago. The tea gardens stretch for miles and miles, broken by occasional splash of waterfalls or quaint villages.
  7. Day 07 Munnar – Cochin (135 kms. / approx. 4 hours drive)

    Depart Munnar and drive to Cochin for your onward journey.
